Duane E. Smith

vice president of client services

As Vice President of Client Services, Duane Smith is responsible for operations management of all client-facing solutions for the FacilitySource customer community. Duties include call center operations, account management, vendor management and business intelligence. Prior to joining FacilitySource, Duane was Director of Stores & Facilities Maintenance for Limitedbrands.

Over the past 21 years, Duane has been working exclusively in the retail facilities industry. Duane’s career began as a field technician servicing one million square feet of retail and corporate office real estate assets. His first position in retail store maintenance was as a Maintenance Coordinator for Bath & Body Works and through the years has been fortunate enough to grow in this industry to Director of Stores & Facilities Maintenance for 3,000+ locations at Limitedbrands.

Duane attended Bluffton University and proudly served in the United States Navy. In 2009, Duane held the position of President of the Board of Directors for the Professional Retail Maintenance Association (PRSM). Duane is married and the proud father of three children. His main hobby is working with his daughters to show horses at a competitive level.
